surealism

The surrealism in this photo is very questionable….. What is the meaning of it? what is it trying to tell us, or is it even trying to tell us something? No one probably knows other than the person who made it but from what I see I think they have a past or maybe that place has a special meaning to them. In my opinion they could also just not want  to  look back at that place. I think that because they made this photo very mysterious and a little dark which makes me think maybe its the way of showing how they feel or how they feel about that place. The woman in the photo seems to be maybe a little afraid or worried but at the same time calm. the surrealism in the photo is very interesting and it makes me wonder what’s the real meaning of it?

shadows

there is good contrast between the white and black shadows, i like how you can see the texture in the image especially of the lady’s eyes and the shadow of the flower in her face. I also like how you can see a glare in her hair. There is so  much contrast throughout the image . Even though the photo is all dark and of shadows i like how you can still see the texture of her skin throughout her body. The shadow of the flower in the womans face suits her very well and I feel like there is more to the picture than what it seems
